This is dieting? For breakfast this morning I had an omelette made from 1 egg and 1 egg white, Taco Bell cheese salsa (1 point per Tbsp), and mushrooms "fried" in PAM. And then I also had a 2 point cranberry muffin, made from a Krusteaz no-fat mix. This is a heck of a lot better than my standard 2 pieces of toast!

I also did 45 min non-stop at the club this morning. I've upped time on the recumbant bike to 6 minutes and that's comfortable enough that I'll probably up it to 7 min next week. I did 20 min on the treadmill, but increased the speed to 2.4 and the incline to 5%. And I've been doing 40 lbs on the leg press, but upped that to 50 today. That's about the max I should do at the moment--first time I've really felt it in my knees. But by God I'm DOING this stuff! And I'm feeling good about it, which is the most amazing thing.

Well, it was a little disappointing to only lose 0.4 lbs this week, but the most important thing is staying on program no matter what. And exercising every day. I'm already seeing changes. I can fit behind the steering wheel of the car without moving the seat. Things which didn't button comfortably 2 weeks ago are buttoning. My pants feel loose--not loose enough to discard, but loose enough to notice. Things I couldn't wear before, are starting to fit. Whether I'm actually dropping pounds, something is happening and that's very nice.
